"What if your weirdness isn’t evidence that you lost the plot, what if it is the plot?" -Gina Starbuck

I was having that exact thought a few days ago while I was sitting in the parking lot of my daughter's school, recording an Akashic journey into Lemuria before pick up. Anyone who knows me knows I am not normal. Nor do I want to be.

Sometimes I can play normal, even look like the usual mom from the outside in… All the while I am speaking light codes and shifting energetic grids, jumping timelines, and activating wombs.

I’m not the mom who has the hand sanitizer or plentiful snacks packed, but the one who has crystals and alchemy oils spilling out of my bag and in the trunk of my car. I’m also the mom that other moms call first for advice when their child, or they themselves, are in emotional crisis.

It’s funny to me because the only thing that is normal to me is being not normal.

I was wrapping up the Akashic recording and about to get out and walk into the office, and I just burst out laughing. Like, so many of us are basically aliens just moonlighting as boss babes moms. All the while, we are superheroes in Crocs.

If you think about the concept of “normal”, it’s quite comical, actually.

A few hours after pickup, I was in a PTA meeting, and then a few days after that, I was dancing in heels and lingerie in a Hollywood dance studio.

A few weeks from now, I'll likely be on a plane in Bali, exploring sacred sites, receiving temple blessings, and moving through the 7 energetic gates with a Balinese high priest.

Somewhere in between, I'll answer emails, fold laundry, coach extraordinary women, make a five-figure sale, witness someone's life changing in real time, walk my dogs, take out the trash, and, if history repeats itself, completely forget to clean the hamster cage.

It's all my life.

None of it feels fragmented or even contradictory. It's just... me.

Which made me wonder...

Who exactly decided what counts as normal anyway? Because the more humans I meet, the more convinced I become that nobody is actually normal. We're all just expressing life differently.

There’s no singular definition of success, and what I call “big normal” is a trap. Another way to take inherently unique humans and crush them a little bit into a belief system that says if you’re not like everyone else, you don’t belong. For me, the more diverse my community is, the stronger we are. Women who are “different” are my people, and watching the unique ways we all get lit up is one of my biggest passions.

Some women genuinely come alive over Sunday brunch. Others would rather spend eight hours snowshoeing through Mount Shasta looking for portals with a guide named Paul of Venus, who literally glows. Like actual light codes emanating from him. Ask me how I know.

Some people save for Disney vacations. Others save to fly to Egypt so they can go inside the Great Pyramid at night and watch light orbs fly around. Neither is strange. Neither is normal. All of it is perfectly fit for who it's for.

I am both an outlier and a shapeshifter. I've always been someone who could fit into almost anywhere because I genuinely love people and life… But I also tend to pull focus, and people can’t quite figure me out.

And maybe that’s the way it should be for all of us. Because if everyone were easy to figure out, wouldn’t we all be bored AF? Sometimes my existence inspires people. Sometimes it triggers them. Usually it's both. Not because I'm trying to be different. But because I am different, I am willing to just be all of me. Even still... You're probably only seeing about 2% of my freak, unless we know each other super well. And that’s probably true for most of us.

But my encouragement today is, let your freak flag fly. Sure, some things don’t need to be made public, but what if the exact thing you’re hiding out of fear is the exact thing that opens whole new worlds for you?

What if your weirdness isn’t evidence that you lost the plot? What if it is the plot?

The world is thirsty for women brave enough to step out of the status quo. And it’s you, in all of your wild, unusual uniqueness, that is going to bring true light to a world that really needs it.

Keep going. I love you.
Til' next time…
